My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Located in the Las Vegas area

Meet Ranger!

Ranger is on the lookout for his forever home — and he’s ready to be someone’s loyal “daddy’s boy”!

This handsome 50-pound sweetheart loves to carry a toy around wherever he goes, showing off his playful personality. He’s dog-friendly and enjoys hanging out and playing with his canine buddies.

Ranger appreciates a quieter household where he can relax and feel secure. He walks nicely on a leash, is housetrained, and absolutely adores his grooming sessions — his mobile groomer says he’s fantastic!

He’s not a fan of long car rides, but once he’s home, he’s the happiest, most loyal pal you could ask for.

Based in Las Vegas, Nevada, we service the Western United States including, AZ, CA, CO, NE, NM, NV, WA, OR, ID, and WY. SSRI works with public shelters and owner surrenders to place in need Springer Spaniels in loving forever homes. SSRI is an all-volunteer group and a Federal 501(c)(3) non-profit. We do not have a facility. We rely on our foster homes to provide the love our dogs need while they wait for their forever homes.
