Froggy is simply the best of everything you could ask for. Looking for the perfect mix of playful and cuddly? Froggy is the total package! At 26 lbs, she’s the perfect size to take on the road or snuggle up on the couch, though she’s still learning that car rides can be fun.
This sweet girl loves everyone she meets and enjoys being part of the family. She’s happiest in the house surrounded by her people, squeaky toys, and tennis balls. Belly rubs are her favorite, and she’ll never turn down a good play session.
She’s food-motivated, playful, and loves to go on walks (she’s still learning not to pull, but she’s eager to please). She’s crate trained, doing amazing with potty training, and sleeps soundly in her crate, though she’d be thrilled to snooze on your bed, too.
Froggy gets along great with other dogs but does best with proper introductions. She’d thrive in a home with kids and another playful pup to keep her company.

Located in Anza, CA
Kathy Haley had originally started as a rescue for abused and neglected large animals such as donkeys, llamas, alpacas, pigs, and more. At the time, she was also a volunteer at a dog rescue. After learning about the importance of rescue work, Kathy saw an opportunity to help by employing her own ideas about animal welfare, rescue and care taking the "whole animal," mind, body and spirit into consideration. A few years later, she met Lisa Ashe. Kathy and Lisa had so many ideas, dreams, and goals in common. They instantly clicked and that was when Hope Ranch Animal Sanctuary, a non-profit organization, was born in 2011 and have been going strong since.
At Hope Ranch Animal Sanctuary, we are dedicated to taking in abused, neglected, and euthanasia listed animals that deserve a second chance and need us the most.
All of our animals are:
Spayed/Neutered
Current on all vaccines
Rabies Vaccinated
Dewormed
Micro-chipped (lifetime registered & paid)
Received all proper medical care when needed (surgeries, dentals, medications, grooming, etc)
While many of our animals are sanctuary or "permanent residents", we do have lots of adoptable pets who are patiently waiting for their forever homes.
We are unique in the fact that our dogs do not live in kennels; instead they live with us in our home on about 5 acres of property located in Anza, CA or they are in foster homes in and around the Temecula, CA area. They have full access to our home and property and sleep inside with us at night.
This ensures that our pets are well adjusted and perfectly suited to become a part of your family.
Because the sanctuary is also our home, we do not have regular public visiting hours but we do have many visitors.
We just have to arrange it to fit the schedule of our animals, ourselves, and you.
