She is a sweet senior who has just finished her heartworm treatment. She loves being someone's ride or die and is fantastic on car rides!
Maya currently lives with dogs and kitties and does well with both, she has also done great with people! Maya would enjoy a home that is more laid back and not too busy.
She enjoys affection, rolling on all things soft and posing like she owns the runway!
Mayas foster mom is traveling between TX and the PNW this holiday, if you're interested in her, don't let distance stop you! She has the means to hitch a ride north!

We are an official 501c3 organization that does not have a physical location. Our home address is in Michigan, however, the majority of our dogs are not located in Michigan. The physical location of each our our dogs is posted with the name of the pet or in the title area. If you are within 4 hours of the pet, please be prepared to pick the pet up. We do provide transport assistance up to 350 miles. The applicant must drive the remainder of the distance of the transport.

Interview
We interview applicants and 3 references. References include 2 non-family members and 1 vet.
Home Check
After a successful Home Visit the applicant is eligible to review available dogs and talk to state coordinators about making a good match.
Approve Application
Pay Fee
All MAD dogs are UTD and spayed or neutered. An adoption fee will apply to any dog that is adopted after completing the above process.
