What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
-We got him 3 years ago but it is hard to have him with other cats because he eats their food. With our growing family, this is hard to keep up with.
-He is about 16 lbs. We have tried to help him lose weight with no success so far.
-Eats dry food or pate. He is not a picky eater.
-Likes to play with other cats or with humans (on his terms, of course).
-He is really smart! He knows how to sit and do puzzle feeders!
LOVES:
-Cuddles
-Treats
-Sleeping with humans. He is quiet at night and sleeps at the end of the bed.
HATES:
-Plastic bags
-Wiping himself (he does better if his fur is trimmed around his butt)
-Being neat with the litter box
Other Notes:
-Would do best with feeding supervision or as the only cat.
-Slow-feeder bowls or feeding puzzles could help him with weight.
-Larger, high-sided litter boxes help with mess.
-I think he would do best as a companion cat with a single female, but he has done fine with me and my wife and have given us many of laughs!
