Here's what the humans have to say about me:
DOB: June 19, 2019
Leo resembles a mix between a sleek black panther and Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon — long, graceful, and effortlessly cool. When he feels comfortable, he gives the funniest looks — sometimes like a mischievous little villain that’s sure to make you laugh!
He loves being stroked all over his body. With patience and gentle affection, he’ll even show you his belly — a true sign of trust. His favorite spots to be petted are his ears, neck, and belly.
Leo is a gentle soul with a naturally cautious, sensitive nature. Sudden movements or changes in his environment may cause him to hiss or quietly roam around to assess safety, but he has never bitten or hurt anyone. He just wants to feel safe. Building a bond with Leo takes time, but it’s deeply rewarding when you see his soft, trusting gaze.
He thrives on predictability and routine. If you move slowly around him or simply sit still and let him observe you, he’ll begin to trust you — and eventually choose to sit beside you or even step onto your lap.
Leo is a curious nighttime explorer. Make sure any small gaps are sealed, but leave a quiet, covered space where he can retreat and feel secure. He isn’t much of a climber and prefers to stay close to the ground, roaming at floor level.
Leo has excellent litter habits, enjoys dry food, and is absolutely obsessed with Churu treats. He’s healthy and doesn’t require any medication.
Once Leo trusts you, he’ll invite you to scratch his lower back, rest between your legs, and make funny little meows to get your attention. He makes the most adorable sounds when he feels safe — and they’re never annoying!
When Leo sits upright and still, it usually means he’s waiting for the right moment to roam around. If you stay calm and patient, he’ll soon feel safe enough to explore.
Leo needs a small, cozy space to feel secure at first. As his confidence grows, you can gradually open more of your home for him to explore. He’ll choose his own “safe spots” and move between them as he settles in.
