Hi, my name is Tracy! I found my way into foster care with Stray Cat Blues when I was trapped to be part of their TNR program. But I was nursing kittens so me and my babies moved into foster. I am friendly but can also be independent. I am a very fast runner but also like to lay in bed with you to get pets. Fun fact: while living outside I had some type of injury and I had to have one of my back bean toes amputated. That does not slow me down at all!
Of course because I am a cat, I am going to start off shy but let me tell you, once I am comfortable with you, I am going to zoom from one end of the house to the other, I am going to jump onto your counters to get eye level with you when I want pets and attention. Adopt me I will make you a great companion.
My 2 kittens, Hiccup and Astrid are also available and if you need more kitties to join me, they would make a great addition but I would also be ok as an only cat, if you just want one.
Estimated date of birth: 2/17/24 and can be met at my foster home in Pennsburg or at one of our PetSmart locations.

The first step is to complete an Application. Start at the Adoption page on our website - https://www.straycatblues.org/adoption-process

Approve Application
You will be assigned an Adoption Representative who will review your application and check your vet and personal references.
3.
Meet the Pet
Once approved, we will set up a meet and greet for you with the cat(s) you are interested in.
4.
Sign Adoption Contract
Your Adoption Representative will go over paperwork with you. You will sign and then pay the Adoption Fee.
5.
Take the Pet Home
This is the best part! Take your new cat home!
Additional adoption info
During review of the application if you rent your home, we confirm with your landlord that you are allowed to have the cat per your lease.
We also consider if a particular cat is a good fit for your home. Certain cats will do better in homes without small children, or without other cats. Other cats may need to be adopted with a cat that they are bonded with. So we make sure that the cat and the home are a good match before completing an adoption.
Some of our fosters allow trial adoptions, where you would have 2-3 weeks to make sure that the cat being adopted was accepted by the other pets in your home. If you are interested in this, please ask your Adoption Representative.
All cats adopted from Stray Cat Blues have been screened for feline leukemia and FIV, inoculated, sterilized and wormed when they first come to us. Additional vet work is completed for those cats that require additional care. Healthy, adoptable cats and kittens are then housed through our network of foster homes until they are adopted.
You are also welcome to come visit cats at our PetSmart Collegeville and PetSmart North Wales/Montgomeryville locations (see times for adoption showings). If you see a cat there that you like, you can complete an adoption application there in person.

• $150 - Kittens up to one year of age
• $100 - For cats over one year and up to 7 years of age
• $70 - For cats 7 years of age and over.
All fees are subject to Pennsylvania's 6% sales tax and a minimum of $5 or 5% service fee.
Fees for cats with special needs will be determined based upon circumstances and may result in a fee reduction.
