My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pratt is an adult neutered male Black DSH.

Are you the one that will be willing to open your heart and home to a special needs mini panther?  Please consider this easy-going guy.  His mellow nature makes him an ideal companion for someone looking for a 'lap cat.' He can live with dogs and other cats (with proper intros) which makes him a versatile addition to many households.
Because he 'bumps into things,' he simply needs a consistent home layout—a small accommodation for a lifetime of love. Visually impaired cats like Pratt rely heavily on their senses of hearing, touch, and smell to build a mental map of their surroundings. He would do best in a home without young children. He will be having a dental 12/26 and is in foster care, please email us to arrange a meeting with Pratt.

Here is the adoption process:

To adopt an animal you must complete an application and be approved. There is a $100 fee for any county animal which needs to be cash or a check - NO CREDIT CARDS. If the animal is not spayed or neutered, there is a $35 deposit which will be returned upon proof of surgery. All dogs must be licensed before leaving the Shelter. Please note that public offices that issue dog licenses are not open on Saturdays and Sundays. All cats must leave in a carrier.

Thank you for considering a homeless animal.
