Ember and his brother, Umber, need to be adopted together. They are approximately six or seven months old and are very bonded.
They were rescued from an alley when they were about six weeks old, thus they were not hand raised from birth and do not like to be picked up. They are very sweet and do love to be petted and they love to play fetch with their toy mouse and Umber can jump several feet in the air during his playtime. They can be nervous around new people or by sudden movements or loud noises. They will do best in a reasonably quiet home with a predictable routine. They would not do well in a home with children under the age of 12 or so. Children would need to be respectful. But the ideal home would be with a single person or a couple who like to have a couple of sweet cats around that don’t demand too much attention. They presently live in a home with two mini dachshunds which they tolerate but don’t want to engage with.
They are fully house/litter box trained.
