A volunteer writes: Brought with another cat and a dog to the fire department, Morad's been working so hard to figure out where he can belong. He really wants to do this, in fact it's all he wants to do, but it's not as easy as it looks or sounds. Peeking out from his cubby, Morad seems to think the secret might be in understanding everything that's happening in the hallway. I'm not sure that it is, but still with wide eyes and perked ears Morad tries to follow each movement and sound as he works as hard as he possibly can to learn. Morad prefers a slow and gentle approach when meeting new people and was gently nuzzling into my hand like he knew it was where he was supposed to be. Morad also knows he belongs somewhere and we're hoping that might be with you.

Update: Morad has now quite a fan club! He is a very social kitty, ready for a meet and greet as soon as a potential guest is in sight.He likes treats, sure but he loves his cuddles more, always wishing he could be leaning into his guest's chest. Morad lived with 3 senior dogs and was left at a firehouse without a word. No wonder he was all stressed out when he arrived at the care center....but despite being in a kennel for close to 6 weeks(we wonder why as he really is quite a lovely cat!), Morad is always hoping to be your friend. Having been though difficult times, Morad dreams of a quiet, safe, permanent and loving home, without boisterous small children in order to bloom into a wonderful pet companion. Will you make his wish come through?
