If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Roxy was a stray. We’ve been fostering her until we can rehome her. She is house-trained, crate-trained, and has been vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. She enjoys car rides, walks, and naps. In the home she is mostly quiet but alert when visitors arrive. She’s sassy and gives judgy eyes. She loves playing with toys and dog puzzles.
We don’t know her past, but she may not have been socialized with other animals. She dislikes cats and is reactive around other dogs, so we’re working with a dog trainer. She’s eager to learn and loves attention, especially belly rubs and head scratches. She gets along with people and played fetch with my 8 year old nephew. She might be ok with older kids but not younger kids.
Unfortunately, we can’t keep her long-term. She doesn’t get along with our cats. It’s been hard keeping everyone separate in the apartment. If you’re interested in a sweet, silly dog, please reach out. She’ll need to be the only pet in the household.
