Evangeline and her two sisters were surrendered to a shelter in Missouri after spending their early days living alone on a farm with little to no human interaction. Their mom is a terrier mix and their dad was a poodle- which makes them... Toodles?!
Evangeline is a timid girl who will need time, patience, and love to build her confidence. She would do best in a home with another friendly dog to help show her the ropes and teach her that the world isn’t so scary. She’s still working on her potty training and will need continued support as she adjusts to home life.
At 1.5 years old, Evangeline is the confident, wavy-coated leader of her litter. With long, loose curls that bounce as she plays, she turns heads and wins hearts wherever she goes.
But Roxy’s beauty is matched by brains—she’s incredibly intelligent and picks up on cues with ease. She’s playful like her sisters, but she’s also ready for more: more learning, more bonding, more adventure.

Our adoption process involves completing a one-page adoption application. Applications are processed within 48 hours.
Adoption fees for cats/kittens are $130.00. All cats/kittens have been wormed, altered, tested for feline leukemia, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.
Adoption fees for dogs/puppies are $300.00 All dogs/puppies have been wormed, altered, tested for heart worm, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.
We also offer our Senior for Senior program matching senior animals to people over the age of 63. Adoption fees are waived for this program.

Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.
Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.
Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
