My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fans of the television show Parks and Recreation know that Duke Silver is character Ron Swanson’s alias when playing the saxophone, headlining “The Duke Silver Trio” once a month at a local bar. The ladies swoon over his moustache and smooth jazz riffs. We’d love to introduce you to one cool pup who`s got the ladies and gents drooling over him! While he can’t play the sax, he’ll play with his kennelmate all day long!

Volunteers love his adorable face and fun personality- here’s what one friend said:

“Duke is a very friendly and bouncy boy! Always happy to see a volunteer friend and eager to get out of his kennel, he`s easy to leash and loves to run around the play yard with his kennel mate. He always checks in for a little bit of affection and seems like he would make a great hiking or jogging buddy, or just a snuggle buddy for quiet days at home. Very sweet boy!”

Duke shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been social and tolerant when meeting other dogs in playgroup. He’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit. Duke is a people oriented, friendly, food motivated (great for training!) boy who knows sit and paw and absolutely loves to get attention and pets!

While he may not be a crooner or a saxaphooner, Duke is ready to steal your heart with his many, many other charms and wonderful qualities! If you`re looking for a snuggly, playful young sweetheart. Duke would love to meet you!
