Meet Danica!

Danica is an adorable Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, nearly 2 years old and weighing 15 pounds. Her striking black and white coloring reminded us of a racing champion's checkered flag - so we named her Danica.

Though she came from a puppy mill and was used for breeding at a young age, Danica isn't carrying that past with her. She's looking forward with hope and excitement, ready to embrace her new life.

Danica absolutely loves to run in a fenced yard - she'd be a star at a cross-country meet! She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, though she hasn't yet been introduced to cats. She's making great progress with leash training, is nearly house-trained, and sleeps peacefully in her crate all night. That said, her favorite place to sleep would be cuddled up next to her person in bed.

Danica adores gently pets and is still learning to enjoy full-on hugs. She's as sweet as pumpkin pie and ready to become the newest member of your family - just in time for the best Thanksgiving ever.

Danica is fostered in the Cincinnati area. Her adoption fee is $450.00.

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
