Mortimor has spent most of his life in a puppy mill, but those dark days are finally behind him. Now, this sweet 7-year-old Frenchie is learning what it truly means to be loved and cared for. Despite his rough past, Mortimor is gentle, curious, and full of quiet charm.

He’s discovering the simple joys of life — soft beds, tasty meals, and the comfort of kind hands. Mortimor enjoys calm spaces and spending time near his favorite humans. Because of his past, he can be shy at first, but with patience and love, he opens up beautifully and shows just how affectionate he can be. Mortimor can be a bit greedy with food and water because of his past.

Mortimor would thrive in a peaceful home with people who understand that healing takes time. He’s looking for a forever family who will give him the safety, stability, and love he’s always deserved.

Mortimor is crate trained and working on house training.

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
