Don't let the name fool you, our Mama is sweet and gentle. She has had a rough life outdoors and was recently rescued along with her very last baby, Mable, whom she cared for above all else. We couldn't be happier that she is finally safe, warm, and fed. She will never again know the harshness of the elements and living in survival mode. She adores her baby Mable and we are hoping to find them a home together.

We are a foster-based rescue. We are using a conversational approach to the adoption process, from asking non-judgmental questions and hearing the owner's perspective, to educating on potential issues so as to minimize risk of returned adoptions.
