Reggie, male, 1 year old Shepherd mix, weighs 54lbs

Reggie is a gentle soul that was brought in as a lost dog to the shelter and no one ever came to claim him. His story is like so many these days. As the days passed for him, a sadness came over him and we knew he needed a fresh start. He has a gentle and sweet personality. He doesn't need to be the life of the party and he likes to observe things patiently. His eagerness to feel love will tear at your heartstrings. Reggie would love a home where he can have some play time and some chill time. He walks nicely on a leash and waits for you to introduce you to new people before approaching with a wagging tail. Reggie gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would make a great buddy to one in the home. He seems to be house broken and will crate when needed. He has the most unique brindle markings that turn heads wherever he goes. Reggie has not been around younger kids/toddlers, but with his gentle and kind demeanor we think he would be great.

Please go to our website to complete the adoption application. Applications are approved on a first-come, first-served basis and sometimes we get MANY applications for the same dog. Please give us a few days to contact you regarding the status of your application. If you haven't heard from us in 7 days, feel free to email to see if you were the lucky family to be chosen! Our adoption fee $500 regardless of the age or breed of the dog, as we believe ALL dogs are equal.

Many dogs are available for a monthly "meet and greet" held at our Genesee, WI rescue. We also do DAILY appointments with approved application. If you see a dog listed you are interested in, DO THE APPLICATION. ALL meet n greets are AFTER application approval. You will get a phone call or TEXT once you are approved to adopt.

Hoovers Hause is based in Olive Branch, MS. Just minutes south of Memphis, TN and the community needs a LOT of education about spay/neuter and we strive to do that along with helping the hundreds of dogs that are dumped, lost, starved, abused or just plain abandoned in the Memphis area everyday. Our second location is in Genesee, Wisconsin.
