My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please contact my foster at: jeanienorman@hotmail.com

Millie is a very petite little gal who lost her owner just before Thanksgiving.  She was struggling at the shelter and is now in a foster home where things are much quieter and less stressful.  Millie is quiet and reserved but likes to be brushed and petted.  Despite her shyness, she will sometimes get playful at night and run a few zoomies around the bedroom.  She hasn`t shown a lot of interest in toys yet, but hopefully will with time.  Millie also loves her daily (or more frequent) churu packs and any other little treats she can convince you that she needs.  She is still pretty standoffish with new people, likely from only knowing her owner in the past, but if someone is willing to put in the time and give her patience, she will come around, as she is still young.

Charlotte Mecklenburg Animal Care & Control's pet adoption program brings animals and people together. If you are looking for a new pet, ACC has a wide variety of animals to adopt; from dogs and cats, rabbits and guinea pigs, to the occasional snake and pot-bellied pigs. The shelter also has two specially designed bonding areas for people to interact and play with the animals they are considering for adoption.
