Name: Cameo Best Guess for Breed: Shepherd and terrier mix
Best Guess for Age: 11 months as of October 2025 SEX: Female
Approximate Weight: 33 lbs as of 10/20/25 - might have just a little bit more to grow
Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!
Currently Living at: DC area boarding facility.

Cameo is Looking For: Her forever home! This sweetie is in her prime as a young adult dog and she's eager to get her own humans. Long sniffy walks, romps in parks, all the adventures they can dream up - yes, please! Making pup pals along the way is on her wish list as well, along with quality kibble and a cushy dog bed. And at the end of a fun day together - cuddles.
But most of all she wants to know where she belongs, to be safe and loved. In exchange, she promises adoring gazes and loyal companionship for her all days. What do you say? Is this pretty girl the companion you have been seeking?
What My Foster Says About Me: Cameo is doing great in boarding and loves playing with all of her friends. She is a favorite with the humans! On a dogs day out adventure, Cameo enjoyed exploring the sights and sounds of Union Market. She did a great job walking on leash, and when meeting kids, dogs, and other humans. Her recent foster said she sleeps well in the crate, did a great job meeting young kids over Thanksgiving, and is such a snuggle bug! Cameo would make a great addition to any home.
Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
