Parfait is an Australian Kelpie mix who is full of love and kisses. This approx 18 month old girl is the perfect size at 44 lbs.
Parfait came to her foster home after being a stray. She is cautious and timid at first, but once she warms up to you, she becomes an affectionate velcro dog. She is still learning household manners, and we’re just starting to work on basic commands. However, she is housebroken and crate trained. Parfait is great with other dogs and good with cats. She loves to run around the fenced yard with the other dogs. She walks nicely on the leash and is good in the car. Parfait will do best in a home with older children who will understand when to go slowly and give her space.
This good girl will need a forever family who is willing to give her time to adjust. After a couple of weeks in her foster home, she is still jumpy with loud noises and sudden movements. Parfait will need some time and love to understand that she’s safe and home.
