Meet Beatrix — Our Brave Little Mama
Beatrix is a stunning dilute calico who recently finished raising her last litter of kittens — all while still barely more than a kitten herself. This petite beauty has done an incredible job as a mama, and now it’s her turn to find the loving forever home she’s always deserved.
Beatrix was raised outdoors and didn’t have the comfort of human affection early in life. Because of that, she’s still learning that people can be kind and gentle. She’s not spicy at all — just timid and cautious, preferring quiet spaces and slow movements while she builds trust. With time, patience, and lots of love, she’s already showing how far she can come — accepting gentle pets, leaning into cuddles, and beginning to purr when she feels safe.
Beatrix gets along well with other cats and has been introduced to dogs, though they still make her a bit nervous. With her gentle, sweet personality, she may do well with very calm, respectful pets in the right environment. A peaceful, low-activity home will help her feel safe. With patience and love, Beatrix is sure to come out of her shell and truly thrive.
Beatrix would thrive best with an experienced cat owner who understands shy or semi-feral cats and can offer her a calm, understanding environment. We would love to see her adopted with one of her kittens so she has a familiar friend to help her feel secure as she adjusts to her new home.
