Come meet Roscoe and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (1/4) from 12-3 pm at the PetSmart in Alexandria, VA (3351 Richmond Hwy, Alexandria, VA 22305)!
Name: Roscoe Best Guess for Breed: Border collie mix
Best Guess for Age: 1.5 years as of October 2025 SEX: Male
Approximate Weight: 47 lbs
Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen him with kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!
Currently Living at: DC area foster home

Roscoe is Looking For: His forever home! Roscoe is in his prime as a young adult dog and eager to go, go, go - romps in parks and world exploration! That likely border collie in him (breed mixes are always a guess but he certainly has that BC look!) means he has a lot of energy and he can't wait to burn it all with his new family.
He's got so much to offer - happy tail wags and the pep to all your days and love and loyal companionship. What do you say? Is Roscoe the one you can see by your side on all your adventures?
What My Foster Says About Me: Roscoe is an easygoing, playful pup who gets along well with other dogs and enjoys both walks and jogs. He’s been doing great in the house and settles nicely in his crate after a short adjustment. Athletic and smart, he’s always up for an adventure and handled busy city environments with confidence. He’s curious about the world, food‑motivated, and shows lots of potential for training — even fun athletic tricks. Roscoe’s sweet personality and enthusiasm make him a joy to spend time with.
Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
