Benson Boone is a sweet boy. He found himself homeless on the street and a good Samaritan asked us to help him. At that time, he had a pretty good limp to one leg. He must have injured it from jumping or getting it stuck because by the time were were able to help him, the limp was gone.
He was a little nervous and a little shut down when he first came in. He does take a little bit of time to feel comfortable in a new space. Cat friends by his side certainly help him feel comfortable and we hope that he can find a home with a friend or another cat that is already residing in the home.
Once he is comfortable, he really enjoys pets. He has a cute posture where he raises his booty in the air as you pet down his spine. He is a big fan of wet food and that is definitely a way to his heart!

More about this rescue
The Euclid Beach Cat Project is a 501(c)(3), non profit rescue group. We take in, socialize, vet and adopt out cats and kittens, as well as trap-neuter-return (TNR) and manage feral colonies. There are so many homeless, abandoned and vulnerable cats and kittens needing homes, medical care and to be spayed/neutered. We try to help as many cats find a home as we can. If they are feral, we practice TNR and make sure either a caregiver or someone with this rescue continues to provide for them.
