Amalthea was found scared in the parking lot of Petsmart and luckily NTCR was there that day to rescue her. Amalthea is a playful girl who loves her big kitty foster brother. She will need another kitty at home to play with. She uses her scratching post and loves her toys. She is a little bit of an odd duck. For a kitten, she has a sassy quirk. You can see it when you just look at her. When she first came to foster care she didn't like her foster mom very much but LOOOOVED her foster dad. She was a daddy's girl for a long time. She finally warmed up to mom and now sleeps with her every night. She still loves to curl up next to her foster dad's feet on the ottoman when he is watching TV, but will also get in her mom's lap when she is working. She has the loudest purr box, but you have to earn it. She is probably not the best kitten for toddlers and but for older calm kids she would be great.
Please contact NTCR AT 214-454-9395 should you have any concerns or questions.
Please note: We appreciate all interest in our cats and kittens, but we are an all volunteer organization. Please be patient with regard to a call back. Should you need to surrender the cat you adopted from NTCR, please email us at surrenderNTCRcat@northtexascatrescue.com.
