My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lillypad, Pollywog, and Minnow were found late one afternoon. Minnow was floating on a lillypad on the edge of the Koi pond crying for help. His sister Lillypad ( Lilly for short) was on the edge of the pond soaking wet and Pollywog ran for the bushes as soon as she saw humans approaching.  If not for Minnow's anguished cries, we are sure they would have suffered the same fate as their two siblings who drowned earlier in the Koi pond.  Critter Cavalry Rescue stepped forward to help the 3 little survivors and their rescue ladies who are original fosters with CCR already. Their life has been forever changed and now they are looking for wonderful cat loving homes.
Lillypad is a big fan of nature. Her favorite place is sitting on a windowsill. Eyes bright and tail twitching, she is both the patient observer and the enthusiastic rump wiggler who will pounce for fun.   She is a beautiful orange stripped girl who reminds us of being in her PJ's and having the time of her life.  She will be the perfect girl who be an excellent mouse catcher if called in to action.  She is  17 weeks old approximately  and  3 1/2 pounds

and sporting her Orange tabby colors that are rare for a female cat.  Please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting this special Lillypad.

More about this rescue

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Companion Rescue give them a chance to have a life?
