More about this rescue

We are a foster home based organization who saw the enormous need for more animals to be saved from our rural high euthanasia rate shelters. In addition, we wanted to help the huge number of unclaimed strays and owner surrender cats and dogs at risk for being dropped off at the shelter.

Puppies, adult dogs, cats and kittens are lovingly cared for in homes as part of a family until they find their furever home.

Each rescue is fully vetted, vaccinated, checked for diseases such as heartworm for dogs and FIV/FELV for cats, microchipped, spayed or neutered, and adopted by approved applicants. We have 10 vet partners covering North Carolina and Southern Virginia making it convenient for our adopters to take their pet for any care not completed at time of adoption (due to age) that is included in our adoption fee.

Since August 2019 over 1900 dogs and cats have been saved and are living happily ever after.
