Lord Chutney was surrendered to EHS as his caretaker was no longer able to care for him. This handsome, brown and white Main Coon immediately moved to a loving foster home where he is being given the attention and care he needs while he waits to find a forever family.
ABOUT LORD CHUTNEY - In foster - His foster mom describes him as a very sweet, cuddly boy. No regal airs here! - He likes to spend his days in deep slumber—might he be dreaming about his feudal days, or were they rogue? - Lord Chutney enjoys being brushed and will never say no to chilling on his foster mom’s lap, purring away to show his contentment. - He also loves to give kisses on the face–what a sweetheart! - Lord Chutney might give a gentle nip if overstimulated; no harm intended, he is simply telling you he needs space. - He uses a stepper to get on to the bed when he wants to cuddle with his foster mom and loves resting on her chest. How comfy is that? - Lord Chutney is on a renal support diet and looks forward to a Churu treat every other day. - He has a mild heart condition and arthritis, both of which are easily managed with medication. - Lord Chutney is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and up to date on core vaccinations.
LORD CHUTNEY’S IDEAL HOME - Given his age and subdued nature, Lord Chutney would do best in a calm, quiet home (without young children or dogs) where he can show his true colours at his own pace. - A home with a compatible feline would suit him just fine although he is happy to reign supreme as the only cat in the household. - EHS will offer a short foster-to-adopt period before finalizing the adoption to assist Lord Chutney with successfully transitioning into a forever home. During this time, our skilled volunteers will offer support to the potential adopters as they get to know Lord Chutney and help ensure everyone settles in comfortably together.
If you would like to include a “lord” in your family, why not fill out an adoption application today for Lord Chutney? After all, who doesn’t need a little nobility in the home?
