My name is Susanna!

Hello everyone, my name is Susanna, and I’m a Pitty mix with a big heart and an even bigger smile.

When I arrived at the shelter, I wasn’t in great shape—my coat was dull and dirty, and my skull and hip bones showed just how hungry I had been. Thanks to lots of care, good meals, and love, my coat is now clean and starting to shine, I’ve gained healthy weight, and those bones are nearly gone. I’m feeling so much better every day!

I did test low positive for heartworms, but don’t worry—my treatment is included in my $100 adoption fee, and I’ll be on the road to a clean bill of health in no time. I’ve completed all my vaccines and will be spayed soon.

Now that I’m no longer starving for food, I find myself starving for something even more important: a home of my own. I love toys, enjoy playing well with other dogs, have a medium energy level, and I’m a big fan of cuddles and hugs. I also walk nicely on leash and truly enjoy my frequent walks.
