My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nakia came in as a stray. She is nervous with new people, but sweet and snuggly once she knows you. She warms up quickly to children. She's a small 23lbs and full-grown. She has been with a foster for a few weeks and seems more comfortable in a quieter household. She enjoys snuggling and playing with toys. She is dog-friendly with slow introductions, and may do better with smaller, submissive dogs. She would do best in a home without cats. She knows sit and is working on other basic commands. She is house and crate trained and respects the baby gate even though she is very agile. She is very smart and food-motivated. She walks well on a leash. Please contact the shelter to arrange a meet & greet with Nakia!
