My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Farrah! This sweet little Shih Tzu/terrier mix is a total heart-stealer. She’s affectionate, curious about everything around her, and happiest when she’s close to her person. Food and treats are definitely her love language, which makes bonding with her fun and training extra rewarding!

Farrah has a gentle, soulful presence with just the right amount of spunk. She loves cuddles, brings plenty of smiles, and is ready to be someone’s loyal little shadow. She’s house trained, about 3 years old, and weighs 18 pounds—just the right size for lap time and adventures alike.

If you’re looking for a loving companion with a big personality in a small package, Farrah is your girl!

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
