Ruby was adopted at 4mo old to be a companion for my older dog; she was born December of 2019, making her 6 years old this upcoming December. Shes very lovey and cuddly and is a true velcro dog. She knows sit, lay, roll over, down/up, kennel, bed (she is treat and attention driven). She is stubborn and talks quite a bit at times; I can make out 'I love you; I know; where were you.' Weve held conversations lol. As she has gotten older, shes become more dominant in attitude toward the other dogs I have. Shes not been in a fight with any of my other dogs in about 5 months; however, she will start growling at the other girls and resource guard me (I correct her so she stops). To avoid any fights occurring in the future, I have come to the difficult decision to rehome her. She would do best in a home where she is the only dog and has plenty of yard to run off energy per her breed. If left to her own, she would wander off, harness preferable.
