Dont let the name fool you, Chilly is anything but frosty! This super friendly gal usually leads the charge to greet the volunteers with head bonks and purrs. The smallest of the Pennsylvania 5, she rules the roost (and the catio)! While she is comfortable with other cats, she has a big personality and may do best as a solo artist in your home. She will reward her new family with silly antics, a warm welcome anytime you enter the room, and the sweetest little trills.

Chilly requires an indoor home and would be best suited for an adult home or a family with older, cat-savvy children.

Vashon Island Pet Protectors does not adopt dogs out on a first come first serve basis - instead working to make sure we have the best match for the animal in our care. We also limit our adoptions out to Washington State though will sometimes make exceptions to the Portland area.

The first step in our adoption process is to fill out the adoption inquiry application using the link below.

We will then follow up within a few days to discuss the dog and answer any questions you may have and if it appears the dog may be a good match we will schedule a time for you to come meet the dog. Our adoption process also requires personal and veterinary reference checks and a home visit and we require adopters to sign an adoption contract. Adoption fees are currently $150 and include vaccinations, microchipping and spay/neuter.
