Our awesome, loving little Boxer mix boy is around 10 months old and was found as a stray. Cody was on death row at a shelter and one of our previous adopters took him in to foster to save his life. Since coming to our rescue he has gone through a 60-day puppy training program, and his trainer raved about this dog’s personality and behavior, saying he did great with the other dogs in the program and was awesome with his small children who hugged and cuddled with him.
He would do great with a family or person who can exercise him and include him in their life — biking, swimming, hiking, family trips, and vacations. Cody needs to be part of the family. First and foremost, he is a great athlete. He runs fast and turns on a dime. He is rambunctious with puppy energy in a positive and fun way.
Cody enjoys chewing on dog bones, loves having a toy in his mouth, and can be mouthy in a very playful way. Thanks to his puppy training, he is not only well-mannered but loving, gentle, and kind. He will sometimes nip at the material on your pant legs or trot away with a shoe in his mouth while watching you, just hoping you will play with him — and he drops it immediately when asked, especially with a soft tone.
He is inquisitive and enjoys new smells, going on walks, and experiencing new things. Cody is alert and aware of his surroundings and always seems like he wants to understand what his human is doing at every turn. He will be your shadow and love your company, giving you all his loyalty. He is a very special pup and deserves an amazing home. Cody is an incredible puppy who will light up your life if you want a true best friend.
Cody is fully vetted with all puppy shots, rabies vaccine, neutered, microchipped and potty trained. Adoption fee is $375. Cody is being fostered in San Jacinto, CA, and we work with transports that travel the I-5 weekly from Southern California to the Canadian border, so transport is available.
