My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Captain Jack: The Loyal Sentinel
Captain Jack operates as the crew's cautious observer. He is initially a shy and reserved gentleman, preferring to survey new people and situations from a safe distance before committing. But for those he chooses to admit into his inner circle, his loyalty is absolute, and his affection is profound. His reserve melts away to reveal a remarkably cuddly companion. The most reliable indicator of his trust and comfort is his purr, which starts the moment he senses your presence, acting as a quiet, devoted welcome that signals your safe return to his side.

Captain Jack will be at Nine Lives Cafe and Cat Lounge 12/3/25 until 12/16/25. To schedule a time to meet him/her and other ARPO kitties, please visitninelivescatcafe.com. Normal ARPO adoption requirements still apply.

If you are interested in adopting an ARPO pet, please visit our website at arporescue.org to learn more about our adoption process and complete our adoption application. ARPO limits adoptions to within 50 miles of Indianapolis. We do not have a shelter; all pets are in volunteer foster homes.
