My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Chamomile ! Chamomile may sound a little barky when you first walk by, but don’t let that fool you—she’s all enthusiasm and zero sass. She’s simply desperate to get out of her kennel and go on an adventure with someone who gets her excitement for life ! Once outside, Chamomile thrives on a harness and has a medium pull as she eagerly investigates every bush, blade of grass, and hidden critter. Her absolute favorite thing in the world ? Running ! If you’re looking for a post-Thanksgiving workout buddy or a partner to train for your next 5K, Chamomile is ready to lace up (well… metaphorically). YShe knows how to “sit,” and while she’s still learning to take treats gently, she’s a quick study. She also thinks “paw” means “jump up for hugs”—she’s working on that, but honestly, it’s pretty adorable. Chamomile is an energetic girl who needs an active home that can keep up with her zest for life. Her dream day includes a morning hike, afternoon playtime, an evening run, and then snuggling up with her humans—because beneath all that energy, Chamomile loves affection just as much as adventure. If you’re searching for a loyal, fun, athletic companion, Chamomile can’t wait to meet you !

She has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in her new home.  Looking for a buddy for your dog?  Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we`re a match!  Check out her playgroup video here:
