Dog Name: Cicily.
Breed: Lab Mix.
Sex: Female.
Age: 6.
Weight: 43lbs.
Medical needs: Currently being treated for lyme disease with doxycycline.
Housebroken: Yes! No accidents at all! She even holds it overnight. She will need to go out immediately once let out of her crate (she’ll run right to the door.) What a good girl!
Crate trained: Yes. She goes in for a treat.
Good in the car: Not terrible but pretty anxious. A seatbelt and harness to keep her from pacing back and forth is best.
Good on a leash: Yes, she walks great with you. After all — with you is her fav place to be.
Energy level: Medium.
Need a fenced in yard: Not needed but she’d love it to free roam.
Dog Friendly: Yes!
If yes, does your foster need another dog in its adoptive home: Not needed.
Cat friendly: Unknown.
Kid Friendly: Yes.
If yes, what's the youngest age: Any with proper supervision.
Traits that make your foster special:
Cicily was our foster 5 years ago and she was surrendered back to the rescue recently. The first couple of nights back she was confused (which was to be expected) but now it’s like she never left. She is the same sweet girl I remember all those years ago.
Cicily is not only adorable but she’s the sweetest. She loves to snuggle, be near her people and she loves to be loved on. In fact if you stop, she’ll give the most gentle little nudge as to remind you she’s there and you can continue to rub her. When she’s not being a cuddle bug you can find her romping around the yard or playing with her toys. She really is such a good girl! Cicily is very easy going and would make the perfect addition to any family.
Foster’s Location: New Castle, DE.
