My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Casper is an 10-month-old mixed-breed boy weighing about 35 pounds, and he’s quickly proving to be an all-around wonderful pup. He’s making great progress with house-training and almost has it mastered, and he does great in his crate. He’s also already learned “sit.”

Casper loves toys, playing fetch, chewing on a good bone, and—most of all—cuddling. He’s the perfect mix of playful and snuggly, with an easy-going personality that should help him adapt well in just about any home.

He enjoys playing with other dogs and happily joins in with his foster dog siblings during the day. He’s also very good at entertaining himself, whether that’s chewing on a bone, playing with toys, or snoozing on his dog bed while foster mom works from home. In the evenings, he’s content to curl up on the couch with his people.

Casper is gentle and would make a great playmate for kids. He enjoys going for walks and is gaining confidence with outdoor sounds, doing well with a little reassurance and expected to grow even more comfortable over time.

His minimum adoption fee is $200 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
