Meet Casper – The Sweet, Gentle Boy Who Loves Everyone

Casper is a 6-month-old mixed breed weighing 32 pounds, and he’s as lovable as they come. This friendly, happy pup is doing great with his house training and does wonderfully in his crate.

Casper loves to run and play with the other dogs and kids in his foster home. He enjoys toys, a good bone to chew on, car rides, and curling up for cuddles—often choosing the back of the couch as his favorite lounging spot (just like a cat!).

He’s gentle, playful, and loyal, and would thrive in most home environments. That said, he’d be especially happy in a home with another dog or kids to keep him company.

Casper is a quiet, easygoing companion with a loving heart and a playful spirit. If you’re looking for a sweet best friend who’s just as happy adventuring as he is snuggling, Casper might be your perfect match.

His minimum adoption fee is $325 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.

Wish Bone Canine Rescue rehabilitates and re-homes dogs. We are a not-for-profit, no-kill organization located in Central Illinois, whose primary focus is to find responsible, loving and permanent homes for the surrendered, abandoned, neglected or abused dogs from within our community. We do not discriminate based on a dog’s breed, age or health . We are a foster home based rescue; however, we also have a facility where dogs are cared for until foster placement or adoption.
