My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

When we hear the classic 1960s song “Angel Baby” by Rosie and the Originals, we can’t help but think it could have been written about our very own angel baby, named Blossom.

“It`s just like heaven/ Being here with you
You’re like an angel/ Too good to be true

But after all/ I love you, I do
Angel baby/ My angel baby

When you are near me/ My heart skips a beat
I can hardly stand on/ My own two feet

Because I love you/ I love you, I do
Angel baby/ My angel baby”

Here’s what one volunteer said about Blossom:

“OM goodness Blossom is the absolute sweetest girl! She is thrilled to see her volunteer friends when we come to her kennel and she greets us with a happy body and waggy tail. She was very easy to walk over a play yard today and after going potty, she barely left my side! I threw a ball around the yard which she chased for a little bit. She`s super playful, I bounded around the yard and she would prance after me and when I stopped, she would stop with her whole body pressed up against my shins as I scratched her. We did this again and again, running around the yard and stopping for cuddles; it was so much fun! While she loves to play, she is equally a snuggle bug, loving to be by my side, giving me the sweetest kisses and getting pet. I sat on the ground and she put her head in the crook of my arm and stood as close to me as possible, soaking in all the love. At one point she laid down on the ground on top of my feet and rolled over so I could rub her belly. She is so affectionate, sweet and so, so soft! She even let me put a reindeer antler headband on her for a photo and she was patient and tolerant! She`s an absolute angel and I cannot understand how she is still here! Come take this angel baby home and you won`t regret it!”

Blossom has shared her kennel politely and has been tolerant and independent when meeting other dogs in playgroup. Her favorite place in the yard is a sunny spot where she can just relax!

Blossom is definitely a hidden gem; she is unassuming in her kennel and doesn’t call attention to herself. Take a chance on her and you won’t regret it!
