My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jade is a stunning 4-year-old German Shepherd with a loyal heart and a thoughtful, cautious nature. Like many Shepherds, she can be wary of new people, but with slow introductions — and a pocket full of treats — she starts to show her curious side. She takes her role as a protector seriously, and she feels safest in a calm, predictable home without a lot of comings and goings.

Jade is looking for a quiet environment where she can take her time getting comfortable and build trust at her own pace. Once you’ve earned her confidence, though, you’ll discover her true personality: affectionate, devoted, and always by your side. She’ll follow you from room to room, happy to be your loyal shadow.

For someone who appreciates the Shepherd temperament and values a deep, steady bond, Jade could be the perfect companion.

Jade would do best in a home without young children due to her timid, cautious temperment.

If you are interested in meeting Jade, please visit the shelter during our open hours; Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri 10a-12:30p & 2p-4p, Thurs 10a-12:30p & 2p-6:30p, and Saturday 9a-1p. Adoption application can be filled out and approved during your meet-and-greet. If you have another dog in the home, plan to bring them for a meet before you complete the adoption!
