Waffles is a 70-pound silver pitbull mix with the heart of a teddy bear. His story began with heartbreak—he and his sister Genesis were found keeping watch by their owner, who had passed away outside of his tent. Since then, Waffles has been in foster care, patiently waiting for a new chapter to begin.
Waffles is a certified snuggler. He lives for love and affection—whether you’re relaxing on the couch or just passing by, he’s always up for some cuddles. He’s fully potty trained, sleeps well through the night, and is content when left home alone (especially if his dog bed is cozy and the vibes are calm). One of his favorite things? Bouncing up and down the stairs just for the fun of it.
Recently, Waffles had a few low-grade mast cell tumors removed. He’s recovering beautifully and still full of joy, love, and curiosity. His adopters should be prepared to keep an eye on his skin and stay in touch with a vet for any future concerns—but for now, he’s doing great and loving life.
Waffles does well on walks, enjoys the fresh air, and is food-motivated and trainable. He prefers to be the only dog in the home (unless carefully matched), but his affection for humans knows no bounds.
If you’re looking for a deeply loyal, low-key companion with a heart full of love and a snuggle quota that never runs out—Waffles might just be your guy.
