Meet Lilio, a young, affectionate, and wonderfully playful cat who’s ready to brighten your home with her big heart and even bigger personality! Once a bit unsure in the shelter, Lilio has blossomed into a confident, loving girl who now seeks out attention and happily soaks up all the affection she can get.
She’s especially fond of chin scratches — once she knows you’re a kind human, she’ll lean right in and melt under your hand. And when it comes to playtime, she is all in. String toys are her absolute favorite, and she’ll happily chase, pounce, and show off her funniest moves to keep you entertained.
Lilio also gets along well with other cats, making her a great fit for a multi-cat home.

The first step to adopting a cat or dog from Animal Friends Alliance is to fill out an adoption questionnaire. You can do this online!
The next step is to pick out a cat or dog! Check out our adoptable cats and adoptable dogs for pictures and short descriptions or come into the shelter at our Taft Hill campus. We also have adoptable cats at many offsite locations.
Note: not all available cats and dogs reside at our campuses. Some are at off-site adoption partners or in foster homes. If you are interested in a particular cat or dog, please call our shelter at (970) 484-8516 to find out about their current status and location.
We do not ship animals. You are required to come and meet your new addition prior to adoption so that we can ensure a good match.
Please note that we will make a copy of the adopters’ State ID card, Driver’s License or passport at the time of adoption.

Animal Friends Alliance is a non-profit, adoption guarantee cat and dog shelter and low-cost spay/neuter clinic.
Our spay/neuter clinic performs surgeries on both cats & dogs, and we also offer low-cost vaccination clinics every week.
Our organization's goal is to do everything in our power to prevent euthanasia due to 'homelessness'.
