My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We are looking to rehome our beautiful 3-year-old female Siberian Husky, Luna. This decision has not come easily, but with a baby on the way and the growing tension between Luna and our smaller dog (who has become very protective of my pregnant wife), we know it’s the right thing to do for everyone involved, especially Luna.

When we adopted her almost two years ago, we were aware she struggled with anxiety. We’ve seen some progress through training and routine, but she still has moments of unpredictability and stress, especially in a home with heightened activity. With a newborn coming soon, we’re deeply concerned the environment may become overwhelming for her, and that’s not fair to Luna.

Luna is a very sweet and affectionate girl once she builds trust. She enjoys cuddles (ear rubs are her favorite), has her favorite cozy spots in the house, and absolutely thrives with routine and calm surroundings. She’s been around toddlers and young children and does great with them!
