Here's what the humans have to say about me:
🐾 Meet Gem – The Precious Parvo Survivor With a Heart Full of Love! 🐾
Gem isn’t just her name — it’s exactly what she is. This gorgeous medium-haired girl shines with warmth, resilience, and devotion. She’s a parvo survivor, and she’s come out of it with even more love to give.
Dog-friendly and incredibly people-oriented, Gem may “pancake” a little when meeting someone new, but it doesn’t take long for her to melt right into you. She’s known for her soft little whines for attention and her endearing habit of burying her head or gently pressing it against you — her way of saying, “You make me feel safe.”
Gem takes treats with the softest, most careful little nibble, always making sure not to accidentally catch your fingers. She’s house trained, eager to please, and a quick learner who looks to her people for comfort, confidence, and guidance when trying new things.
She wants nothing more than to be close — following her humans, leaning on them for reassurance, and snuggling in for love.
If you’re looking for a gentle, loyal companion who will bond deeply and brighten your life every single day, Gem is truly a treasure waiting to be found. 💛

We are committed to helping each potential owner
choose an animal best suited to the owner's life
style. Each animal currently available for adoption has his or her own special story and some have yet to feel the comfort and security of a loving home. Your interest in adopting one of our special friends means that you are a caring
and responsible person. Make no "bones"
about it - adopting a pet is a very
important decision! And, like any
important decision, it requires a
lot of thought and consideration.
