My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, I’m Avril Lavigne.
I’m a 4-year-old spayed girl with a soft heart, a calm spirit, and a quiet little wag that shows up whenever someone kind walks my way. I may share a name with a rock star, but trust me—I’m more of a “curl up on the couch and listen to the rain” kind of girl.

I’m sweet, gentle, and I love taking my time to sniff the world at my own peaceful pace. I enjoy soft pets, warm spots to nap, and humans who speak in the same calm language I do. I don’t need much to be happy—just a safe place, steady love, and someone to share slow, easy days with.

If you’re looking for a mellow companion who will sit beside you, lean in for affection, and bring a little quiet joy into your life, I’d love to be your girl. Let’s take life one soft moment at a time. 🐾💛 I have been here since 11/04/2025

Additional adoption info

Adoptions are first come, first served. We are unable to place holds on pets.

If you already have a dog at home and are interested in adopting another, a meet & greet is required to ensure both dogs are a good match. For safety, we do not co-mingle dogs at our facility.

All pets are spayed/neutered before going to their new home. Each pet receives age-appropriate vaccinations and a microchip, provided it was safe to perform these procedures.

If any vaccinations or the microchip could not be completed before adoption due to safety concerns, you will receive paperwork to bring to a veterinarian to have these services completed.

Every adoption includes a folder with helpful resources—training tips, local coupons, and other goodies to help you and your new pet start strong together!
