My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Poet is a gentle, observant tricolor mixed breed looking for a patient, loving home to help him blossom. At just over a year old, he’s transitioning from life as a stray to learning what it means to be truly cared for and cherished.

Poet arrived as a stray in October and has spent his time in foster care discovering the comforts of indoor life. He’s a bit undersocialized, so he approaches the world with curiosity and caution. Poet isn’t the type to jump into your arms immediately, but for those willing to move at his pace, earning his trust is an incredibly rewarding experience.

He is sweet, quiet, and observant, and would thrive in a low-pressure, calm household. Poet enjoys the company of other dogs, and having a confident canine sibling could help him gain confidence. He also enjoys exploring safely in a yard and spending quiet time with his people.

Poet has already been neutered and is ready to start his next chapter with a patient and loving forever home. If you have a calm environment and a lot of love to give, Poet might just be the loyal companion you’ve been waiting for.
