Good with dogs? Yes, she lives with three other dogs and is playful with the younger dogs and respectful with the older, more laid-back dog. She has mainly met with other medium-sized dogs and has done well with interactions. She is continuing her socialization with various dogs.
Good with cats? Not Tested. Sophie seems to have the right demeanor to be a friendly cat sister, with proper introductions.
Good with kids? Not Tested, but she adores people in general. She is a puppy who may give love nibbles, and interactions with children could be supervised.
Energy level: High, with typical puppy energy. She loves running around, playing with toys on her own, playing with other dogs, playing tug of war and all kinds of human interaction. She also loves hiking and may be a great Colorado adventure dog!
Animal Characteristics: Sophie is sweet, spunky and incredibly loving. She is a cuddle bug with a playful spirit and a loyal nature. She thrives on attention and enjoys being around people and other dogs. She is good at walking on a leash, completed a 1.5 mile hike, knows “sit” and is very smart and a quick learner. She’s food-motivated, which makes continued training easier. She loves to snuggle up with her people! She is happy, goofy, confident, and rarely barks. Like all puppies, she will benefit from continued socialization and training.
