Here's what the humans have to say about me:
🐾 Meet Audrey — A Brave Girl Ready for Her First Real Chance 🧡
Audrey is a gentle, 4-year-old sweetheart who came to us with 10 other dogs after living in a situation where they never learned people could be kind. When she first arrived, she was completely shut down — trembling, unsure, and too scared to approach anyone.
But Audrey has worked so hard to bloom here.
With patience, calm surroundings, and the steady presence of other friendly dogs, she’s started to trust. She now takes treats, seeks quiet company, and watches her caregivers with soft, hopeful eyes. Her progress has been incredible — but the shelter is no place for such a sensitive soul.
Audrey urgently needs a patient, supportive home where she can continue to grow. She thrives with other dogs who can show her the ropes, and she just needs someone willing to guide her gently through her nervous moments and celebrate every small victory with her.
If you’ve been looking to truly change a life, Audrey is waiting for you.
Come meet Audrey at High Country Humane, open daily 11am–5pm, closed Wednesdays. Audrey is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready for her forever family.
🐾 Considering fostering instead? All supplies, food, and medical needs are covered during the foster period.
