Meet Richard! He's a playful and sometimes feisty 6 year old guy who loves to cuddle (on his own terms) and is very sweet. He gets anxious if left alone or bored, so he would pair best with someone who is home often (he can handle being along during an 8 hour workday though!) and can give him a home with lots of enrichment (he loves having a window with a view for him to birdwatch). He's only ever been a solo cat, but is generally pretty mellow and would probably get along with another cat in the household. He's not the chattiest guy but he will always try to talk to the birds outside and will not hesitate to meow at you when he's getting impatient for his treats!
Note: when his anxiety spikes he can sometimes have pee accidents outside of the litterbox, however these are always limited to being near the box (never on furniture) and stop once the problem is addressed (i.e, loneliness, boredom, a litterbox setup he doesnt like - he is picky but I know what works for him now)
