My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sky , a 7-year-old Husky mix with a calm soul, affectionate nature, and a healthy dose of classic Husky personality. Sky is a bit of a Velcro dog —she forms strong attachments to her person and enjoys staying close, whether that means cuddling or simply relaxing nearby.

Sky is house-trained and kennel-trained, though she prefers a soft dog bed over long periods in a crate. She is generally easy in the home and thrives in a predictable, low-chaos environment.

She typically does well with larger dogs , especially males , following slow introductions. However, Sky becomes stressed in busy, multi-dog households and would do best as an only dog or with a carefully selected companion. No small dogs , please.

Sky is not suitable for homes with children and is selective with people. She bonds deeply with her primary handler and does best with someone who understands respectful handling and canine boundaries. Because of her independent, sensitive nature, she needs a Husky-experienced owner who will allow trust to develop at her pace.

Rescued while pregnant, Sky gave birth to six puppies just days later and was a devoted, nurturing mom. Now that her puppies have all found homes, Sky is ready to finally be someone’s priority.

True to her breed, Sky can be vocal and occasionally picky about her kibble. With the right person and environment, she is an incredibly loyal, calm, and loving companion who simply wants a peaceful home and her person nearby.
