My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Twirp is a gentle, attentive little character who has always preferred the company of people over the rough-and-tumble play of his siblings. Born on July 25, he has been raised in a quiet foster home where his affectionate nature and playful spirit have flourished. He is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped, and will be available for adoption through St. Francis of Assisi Animal Rescue.

This super-friendly sweetheart has a sense of humor that matches his name. He loves belly rubs, and if you indulge him, he may surprise you with one of his tricks, like untying your shoelaces when you least expect it. His antics have entertained his foster parents since birth, and now he is ready to bring that same joy into a forever home.

Twirp is lively and playful, often bursting into zoomies that fill the room with energy. He delights in chasing toys on the end of a stick and darting after the laser pointer, but he is just as happy to settle in for attention when the play is done. More than anything, he wants to be with people, sharing his affection and his clever little performances.

With his gentle manners, love of companionship, and playful personality, Twirp is the perfect mix of entertainer and loyal friend. He is ready to continue his performing art in your home, bringing laughter, affection, and a touch of mischief to your everyday life.

Additional adoption info

All of the cats and kittens adopted from St. Francis have been vaccinated, tested for FeLV/FIV, dewormed, treated for fleas and ticks, spayed or neutered and microchipped. We do our best to ensure that the pet you adopt is healthy and happy.

We feel it is important for all potential adopters to meet and spend some time with the cat or kitten they would like adopt. Our trained volunteers will assist in helping adopters choose the cat that will fit in best with your household.

Go meet their pets

Because we are a foster rescue, we do not have a shelter or physical location. To meet our cats and kittens, please phone or email us to arrange a date and time meet them. You can also meet our cats at our Meet and Greet events.

Two Saturdays each month, St. Francis holds a Meet and Greet event from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at the PetSmart store in Forest Lake, MN. Anyone wishing to meet our cats and kittens is invited to attend our Meet and Greet events. We have a quiet room where potential adopters and meet and socialize with any cats/kittens that they are interested in adopting.

More about this rescue

St. Francis Animal Rescue (SFAAR) is a volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We are dedicated to rescuing and rehoming homeless, neglected, stray and otherwise unwanted cats and kittens. Until they are adopted, our rescued cats live in loving foster homes as part of the family while we learn about their personalities, behaviors and temperaments. Foster families work with their cats/kittens to teach them good manners, care for any medical problems, and address any behavior issues. This information helps our adoption counselors match the perfect pet for you and your family.
