Meet Poem, a gentle and graceful mama whose sweetness could melt even the toughest heart. After raising her three little “verses” — Limerick, Haiku, and Sonnet — she’s ready to close that chapter and begin a new one of her own. Poem is affectionate but calm, happy to curl up beside you and purr the quiet music of contentment.

Some pets are in foster homes or may already have an appointment scheduled, so the appointment is important to make sure I will be available to meet you when you come.

Our Shelter is open every day from 10am-4pm, except Sundays. On Sundays, we are open from noon-4pm.

We are open for walk-ins, but we recommend appointments because some of our pets are in foster homes or may already have an appointment with another potential adopter. We just don't want you to come to our location and be disappointed if you can't meet a pet you are interested in.
